I spent nearly two hours looking at books, cards, wordart by davi det hompson (orginally his parents named him “David E. Thompson”) which his widow recently contributed to the Avant Writing Collection in the Rare Books Dept. at OSU’s Thompson Library. My spouse, John M. Bennett, still maintains an office there where he keeps his curator’s eye on maintaining this collection, although he is retired. The triplets are JMB-JMB-and JMB, THE SAME, against a marble wall at the library. Needless to say, my mind felt opened up after spending two hours with Davi Det Hompson’s works… so I found myself on a creative roll with processing these images.
