My New Gravity Shoes

CMB custom designed these canvas shoes at the Zazzle website.
Text is on the tongue – “gravity” – and a slice of a phrase “Sounding out the deconstruction of…” which is on inner-side of each shoe.

Asemic text is on the front section of each shoe. I created a special archival shoe box for these shoes with text and images inside the lid and box.

Marilyn R Rosenberg is my collaborator – she created a box with shoes and foot/sole/text related items just as I did. We then exchanged boxes and added to each other’s boxes. THE BOOK OF SOLES (SOULS) is a completed collaborative book included in our boxes, and there is also a set of four perforated full-color artistamps sheets that reflect page spreads in the book. Our book is available by print-on-demand at Luna Bisonte Prods website on Lulu and you can also find it as an e-book (pdf download) at the same site.

    cute style,
    lovely and playful piece.

You are under fresh poets to explore,
I invite you to become a participant at Thursday Poets Rally Week 36…link in your entry when you are ready.
That’s a better way to make poetic friends, and have your talent directly exposed to fellow poets.
Poetry awards are to be given upon completion.

Hope to see you in, Happy Thursday, best wishes for the year of 2011.

Shoes to take you far from this world when needed and back again. Your thoughts travel far even without the shoes.
